After the Covid-19 pandemic prompted waves of cancellations, many couples say they are prepared to overcome whatever hurdles are thrown their way. But a historic number of people planning to say “I do” has translated into intense competition for wedding vendors and trade-offs amid high inflation. And vendors are coping with burnout as they brace for 2022’s onslaught.
